The most awaited smartphone series is about to arrive and predicting its price, it’s going to be much more expensive than the previous iPhone series.
Since we are facing a global semiconductor chip crisis, Apple might increase the prices of its upcoming products that are about to arrive next month.
Apple iPhone 13 series is the first to arrive with a price hike that will compensate the iPhones for the increased cost of chip production. This September’s gonna cost heavy for Iphone enthusiasts.
According to an August report from DigiTimes, the tech giant is considering increasing the costs for the iPhone 13 to compensate for the escalating price of chip production from its supplier, TSMC. Apple’s supplier is looking to increase the cost by as much as 20% for “advanced and mature process technologies” by January 2022, the report says. It’s unclear, based on the report, how much the iPhone price could increase.
But wait, Iphone 13 series is rumored to have some awesome features that you haven’t seen in its predecessors. The company received massive criticism for not providing a higher refresh rate screen panels which android smartphones have done a long time ago.
The company predicts a major sales boost for their upcoming smartphones that it will not produce 20% more smartphones than last year’s iPhone 12 series productions despite fewer design changes.
iPhone 13 Series will have major camera changes which you can see by the sensor sizes of its leaked images, 12Hz Refresh rate OLED screen with satellite communication connectivity. It’s gonna be lit!
In its camera department, it’s also possible that the lidar feature for improved depth sensing currently only available on the 12 Pro models would be available on the entire iPhone 13 range.
It will also have a huge camera bump that will allow the lenses to sit flush with the surface, rather than protruding out as they currently do. Not only bulky cameras but bigger batteries too. Here is the iPhone 13 models’ battery size.
According to a note from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple’s iPhone 13 will feature satellite communication connectivity which will enable users to make calls and send texts in areas without cellular coverage.
Currently, we don’t have the exact price tag of the upcoming iPhone models but it will surely be a bit expensive than its predecessors because it offers more.
