LG – one of the biggest and oldest smartphone company is all set to sell Apple products in their official stores in South Korea. As we know, LG the South Korean giant recently shut down selling smartphones. No more smartphones from this legendary brand.
But they will start selling Apple products in their flagship LG stores from August 2021 onwards. This will include iPhones, Apple Watches, and iPads. Talking about numbers, LG has a wide range of Flagship outlets in South Korea. LG acquires over 450 stores in prime locations of South Korea. They are all well built, top-of-the-line flagship retail stores and will sell Apple products that will definitely boost their sales.
Apparently, Apple will not be selling their iMacs and MacBook Pros as LG is still selling laptops and they haven’t quit the market of laptops and LED Screens. One of their laptop series “LG GRAM” is also popular for its spot in the Guinness Book Of World Record.
Apple timings are absolutely nuts. South Korea is considered to be Samsung’s home and with this sick move, they are surely going to hit Samsung way too hard! Both company’s flagship smartphones are about to launch in the upcoming months and this move from Apple will be a game-changer for Apple. Maybe, it is a counter-attack by Apple against Samsung as they are expecting a 53% sales profit boost in the second quarter of 2021.
Samsung’s flagship series Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra will launch after some time. Meanwhile, Apple will also launch its iPhone 13 lineup in about a month or two. Because of this global pandemic and semiconductor chip shortage, we can’t say the exact time as everything is getting delayed because of this global chip crisis.
Apple is missing something big on their smartphones, that is high refresh rate screens. Again, because of this global pandemic, this was delayed by Apple whereas Android smartphones have been doing this for years and iPhone users are still waiting for this upgrade. iPhone 13 series rumors suggest that they will come with high refresh rate screens.
Samsung has now officially confirmed that their Galaxy Unpacked Event is taking place on August 11th. In addition to this, for the first time, Samsung has officially announced a brand new “Multiple Device Exchange Program”. So, If you are willing to buy Galaxy Z Fold 3 and can’t afford the price tag then you can actually trade up to two Samsung devices that will make you eligible for a discount.
Now, this “Multiple Device Exchange Program” is currently live in the US and there’s no confirmation on how long will this continue. It is expected for just pre-orders period only. If you’re crazy about flagship smartphones, this might be a great opportunity for you!
