Samsung Galaxy S22 could release alongside a 25W wireless charger

Samsung has received FCC certification for a 25W fast wireless charger, which would give you a quick wireless charging experience than any other Samsung wireless charger before.

Samsung’s phones and wireless chargers are now limited to 15W charging speeds, but that appears to be changing, according to a recent Federal Communications Commission (FCC) submission uncovered by MySmartPrice.

According to the FCC website, Samsung has received certification for a device capable of 25W charging speeds, implying that the South Korean electronics giant is planning to release a 25W wireless charger in the near future.

It’s already been reported that Samsung’s yet-to-be-announced S22 Ultra would have quicker 45W wired charging capability, so it stands to reason that the premium flagship will also get faster wireless charging.

However, the 25W wireless charging would be limited to Samsung’s top-tier S22 device. Most indications point to yes, but according to Tech Radar, Samsung bringing 25W wireless charging to the whole S22 family.

Samsung Galaxy S22 will be powered by the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 series and Exynos 2200 processors, so expect it to be a performance beast. It is unknown how these processors will optimize battery performance; however, in the event of poor performance, the latest quick wireless charger is here.

The Galaxy S22 will be something exceptional since Samsung is collaborating with one of the best camera companies, Olympus. It will also feature the TOF sensor. Image stabilization technology will completely change as these smartphones will have IBIS in-body image stabilization (IBIS) of the best Olympus cameras.

The reports come just months after Olympus (under its new ownership, OM Digital Solutions) announced that it would collaborate with other companies.

Since everything is moving wireless. This might be a good option for customer who have a habit of living without wires, but the irony is… Wired chargers are faster than wireless chargers. Period!
