The company launched two unique smartphone series with foldable and flippable displays. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are the latest ones, both better than their predecessors. They are now expected to launch a new slidable/rollable display smartphone.
According to XEETECHCARE, a new Galaxy Rollable- Slidable screen is on its way which is a perfect revolution for the Galaxy Note Flagship series. Samsung has filed a brand new patent interestingly in Europe (usually they do this stuff in Korea) this time which is a sign that they are serious about this particular smartphone lineup.
The patent shows off a device that looks like a Galaxy Note lineup from the front, and with the press of a button, it can transform seamlessly into a tablet rocking that extended flexible display.

The sliding display actually goes all the way to the back so you get a pretty huge display on the backside to use rear cameras to capture high-quality front-facing images and videos.
If you notice the patent’s camera unit, it looks similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3. This is likely because Samsung doesn’t want to reveal the camera planned for flagship devices next year.
There is no front camera visible on the Note Slide-Rollable smartphone as it will have an under-display front-facing camera just like the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Samsung had to pause the Galaxy Note series lineup because of the semiconductor chip shortage, this might be the perfect revolution to the Galaxy Note lineup, all it needs is an integrated Galaxy S pen.
Samsung should name this phone Galaxy Note Z or Galaxy Note Slide as it is pretty similar to its Galaxy Note lineup. The phone would possibly arrive at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event which is expected to happen in late August 2022.
Samsung has some unfinished business when it comes to the flagship lineup. The Galaxy Fan Edition is expected to arrive later this year right on the launch of the iPhone 13 lineup which is expected to arrive in September 2021.
It is actually been officially confirmed by Samsung while they accidentally leaked the smartphone in a recent promo. The Galaxy S21 FE along with Galaxy A52 got Bluetooth SID (Subset Identification) certification that confirms the launch is pretty close.
