Samsung Galaxy S22 could feature Snapdragon 898 & Exynos 2200

Samsung’s most awaited smartphone is about to arrive in the coming months and we are expecting some biggest hardware upgrades just like Samsung has been doing for years.

Samsung flagship series traditionally comes in two processor variants: Exynos & Qualcomm chipsets. The Snapdragon 898 will be used to power the Galaxy S22 phones outside of Europe, according to FrontTron. Previously, the Snapdragon version of these top Samsung phones was primarily exclusive to the United States.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 is rumored to equip Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 & Exynos 2200 which will be the latest yet most powerful smartphone chipset ever.

According to the leak, the Snapdragon 898 chipset would be released in South Korea, Hong Kong, India, and other Southeast Asian countries. The Snapdragon version is expected to be released in the United States as well, though US carrier Verizon is reportedly seeking a deal to offer the Exynos edition.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S22 with the Exynos 2200 chipset is almost guaranteed to be released in Europe and South America. However, FrontTron also states that a final decision has yet to be made, implying that there may be changes between now and launch day.

Not only that, Samsung has collaborated with another well-known brand, and Samsung x AMD will finally happen. For the first time, We will see AMD GPU inside a smartphone with the Exynos 2200 processor. 

Samsung recently had a 53% profit boost in the second quarter of 2021 that shows the company’s brilliant performance despite the global semiconductor chip shortage and delaying their Galaxy Note Series.

On paper, the device appears to be a beast, but we’ll have to wait and see what it has to offer.
