Microsoft is having a Surface event on September 22nd, and we expect to see the upcoming Surface Pro 8, but the newest rumor indicates that we may also see the next edition in the Pro series, with some newly amazing specifications.
Previously, the images show a bulky triple camera setup at the back of the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 that’s indeed a big improvement. Although the device hasn’t arrived yet. But, rumors suggest it will include a telephoto, an ultrawide angle, and a standard lens. The camera bump looks quite similar to the Android smartphones.
According to the sources, the Pro 8 will also include swap-able SSD storage, twin Thunderbolt connections, and will be powered by Intel’s 11th-generation CPUs and Windows 11. This spec sheet makes this device an absolute beast.
The 13-inch display’s 120Hz refresh rate is among the features claimed in this leak — a spec we have yet to see on any Surface device. It also appears to be using the Pro X’s ‘thin border’ screen.
Tech Radar posted a tweet in which a Twitter user @Shadow_Leak shared an image that looks like a retail listing of the Microsoft Surface Pro 8, showing off a number of previously unreleased specifications which could appear in the next generation of high-end Surface models.
Since the company hasn’t revealed anything about the specs, we can only notice what’s visible to us. The in-hand images of Surface Pro 8 haven’t been revealed yet, so we can’t say anything about its screen size, display resolution, display protection, and PPI, etc.
A leak or rumor doesn’t mean that it’s actually going to happen! On September 22 at 11 a.m. ET during Microsoft’s presentation, we’ll hopefully hear more about the company’s next generation of flagship products including Microsoft Surface Duo 2 (4pm BST, and 1am AEST on Sep 23).
