In honor of the recently launched Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl crossover fighting game, Microsoft’s Xbox gaming division has created two limited edition Xbox Series X systems with accompanying Xbox Wireless Controllers.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & SpongeBob-themed consoles are up for grabs that look awesome! You’ll have until the end of the month to enter a Twitter competition to win them.
The sweepstakes will be open until 8 p.m. Pacific on October 24. Two users will be chosen at random from among the qualifying entries. The first prize is a SpongeBob console and controller, while the second prize is a Turtles’ system with matching controller.
To enter, you must follow Xbox on Twitter and retweet the promotional post complete with hashtags. To see the full rules, visit the official sweepstakes terms and conditions.
Microsoft says, “In celebration of the recently released Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Xbox created two custom Xbox Series X consoles and Xbox Wireless Controllers inspired by iconic characters from the game: SpongeBob SquarePants and Leonardo from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”
The custom Xbox Series X consoles celebrate the beloved Nickelodeon characters in the designs. The Leonardo-inspired console features the visage of the iconic hero alongside his favorite food: pizza! Inspired by the playfulness of the world’s most lovable sponge, the custom console perfectly brings to life SpongeBob SquarePants in its shape and feel.
Fans will have the chance to win one of the custom Xbox Series X consoles and controllers by retweeting the Xbox sweepstakes tweet — starting at 7:00 a.m. PT on October 11 until 8:00 p.m. PT on October 24.
Optimized for Xbox Series X|S, fans can brawl it out as their favorite Nickelodeon characters in bombastic platform battles. The power-packed cast of all-stars includes favorites from the worlds of “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” “The Legend of Korra,” “The Loud House,” “Danny Phantom,” “Aaahh!!! Real Monsters,” “The Wild Thornberrys,” “Hey Arnold!,” “Rugrats,” and more.
Both prize bundles have an approximate retail value of $499 but considering their one-time nature and the fact that next-gen consoles are still difficult to acquire in stores, they’re likely worth much more, especially to a die-hard collector.
Talking about collector, a few months ago, a copy pf Super Mario 64 sold for $1.5 million during auction. These custom consoles can also be sold as limited edition as a seller or may be a decade ago, as retro version. Who knows?
Microsoft is adding some good stuff for the gamers. Now you can also use the latest version of Microsoft Edge browser on your Xbox console. You can enjoy Stadia games, communication on Discord servers, and access Steam via Microsoft Edge.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was released on October 5, 2021, for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and it costs $49.99 USD in the Xbox Store.
