Samsung’s First 5G Smartphone Under $300!

Samsung First 5G Smartphone Under $300

Samsung – One of the biggest tech giants in the smartphone industry is in the news with something handy for their consumers.

When this brand comes to our mind we think of flagship devices like the S Series, the Note Series which have been rocking for the past decades. And now they have also introduced foldable phones which have been a huge success.

Samsung just announced to launch a 5g devices that will be pocket friendly to all users. The company announced Wednesday that it’s doubling down on its mid-range Galaxy A Series smartphone line in the United States — an effort that includes its first 5G device under $300.

As IDC Research analyst Ramon Llamas puts it,

“It’s a high-end phone masquerading as a mass-market device. This is not going to be the one that brings all the recent bells and whistles because that’s what the Galaxy S is all about,” he added. “But if you’re comfortable with having a ‘good enough’ phone that will do what you need it to do, then this is something to look at.”

5G is the future. Everything will be changed via 5G. But this is considered a premium feature and only flagship devices above 800$ provide this feature. Looks like Samsung is about to take the mid-range market segment with this smartphone series.

Three new 5G devices — the Galaxy A52 5G ($499), A42 5G ($399), and A32 5G ($279) — as well as two 4G versions, the A12 ($179) and A02s ($109) — are now available throughout the United States. The Galaxy A42 5G will go on sale in the United States on April 8, followed by the rest of the world on April 9.

The 6.5-inch A32 5G ($279), one of the most affordable 5G phones in the US, is perhaps the most intriguing smartphone in the current lineup. The model’s low price is a major victory for the 5G industry, which has struggled to gain traction due to network issues and the high cost of the hardware needed to operate it. The iPhone 12 and the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, for example, both start at $799.

The A32 effectively eliminates the cost barrier from a 5G-capable system, enabling consumers to concentrate on the features they need rather than the connectivity. The phone also has an HD monitor, a battery that claims to last all day, 64 GB of internal storage, and micro SD card support.

The 6.6-inch A42 5G is a step up from the A32, with a fingerprint scanner for authentication and artificial intelligence built into the camera — a feature brought down to the A-Series from its flagship devices, allowing users to capture a range of types, angles, and formats in one shot, including GIFs and filter effects.

The A52 5G is at the top of the lineup, with a 64-megapixel high-resolution camera, a new pro video mode for fine-tuning video data, and a high refresh rate to make gaming, browsing, and social feeds look smoother.

Samsung’s A Series expansion in the US is a way for the company to delve deeper into the low-cost market.
