Twitter Verified on Friday said that it was working on reviewing all of the applications it had received as fast as it could. In fact, not everyone on Twitter is able to request verification yet because the company has slowly been rolling out access to the application.
In July, Twitter verified six fake accounts – including one of an adorable cat in a bucket that reportedly started sending out Korean-language spam, its decision to pause the process again makes sense.
A Twitter spokesperson told Gizmodo that it would “resume rolling out applications in the next few weeks.” At least, you have some more days to apply. The social media network posted a tweet without any reasonable explanation to the users.
Twitter is generally filled with a majority of official personnel as their tweets are much important for the general public and here Twitter verification symbol plays an important role as it is very important for credibility. Your account reputation gets doubled.
Think of it as.. Elon Musk’s Twitter account without verification mark, would you believe that it’s real? we doubt that. He literally controls the crypto and stocks market with his tweets. Many presidents also use Twitter as a source of official announcements to the general public.
